概要	The number of the people of having a treatment of acupuncture and moxibustion is less than 10% of total population, and it cannot be said that there is many it. It is reported that there are lots of reason for not having a treatment such as "anxiousness of the treatment " ,"not enough time to take a treatment", "uncertain cost" etc. It is considered that the person who has not had a treatment before has an image of the acupuncture as to be opaque. Therefore, we performed a questionary survey on how an image of the acupuncture was different from an experienced person and inexperienced person. We collected questionnaires from 56 people and divided into a group which had experienced acupuncture (21 people, 37.5%) and a group which had not experienced (35 people, 62.5%). We found out that a group which had not experienced acupuncture felt more degrees of the fear for acupuncture to the shoulder than the group which had experienced and the pain they imagined was bigger than the group which had experienced. (both data, P <0.05). However, there was not a big difference between these groups about thickness or implant depth of needles, a number of needles to be used in the treatment. 2016年11月5-6日
